Grace Medical Aesthetics

Dr. Patricia Frey-Murray

Dr. Patricia Frey-Murray began her practice of OB/GYN in 1999. She was in practice in San Jacinto Plaza 1 until this past October when Grace Women’s Center relocated to 6711 Sjolander. Just a short 4 miles from the hospital, the resort-like setting has expanded to offer not only the best in women’s health care but also a complete line of medical aesthetics.

Additionally, Dr. Bear Murray, her husband, specializes in behavioral health and is in the same location. Married in 2015, he brought in another side to the practice, which complements Dr. Frey’s successful OB-GYN practice. She is affiliated with Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital and Altus Hospital.

The two practices together offer a unique treatment of the whole woman. Dr. Bear Murray says, “Many women come to their OB-GYN and treat them as their primary care physician. When they visit their OB-GYN, they may talk about their emotional health.” Dr. Frey may recognize a hormonal issue or a deeper behavioral issue and refer to her husband Dr. Murray.

Given the economics of business for any medical doctor, while she has the compassion to give every patient lots of time, the patient may need more time than is available for someone to listen to the emotional issues. Dr. Frey decided having someone on staff to address these issues was a good idea.

Dr. Frey’s awards include the Methodist Medical Center Outstanding Academic Achievement, CREOG Award, and the Special Excellence in Laparoscopic Procedures Award. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Dr. Frey-Murray has delivered nearly 10,000 babies during her tenure in Baytown. She continues to accept new patients.

Her affiliations are: Fellow, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Association, Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Florida Medical Association. She is licensed in Texas and Florida.
